Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State along with his other colleagues from All Progressives Congress, on Tuesday, met President Muhammadu Buhari in his country home, Daura.
In attendance at the meeting were the chairman of Governors Forum, Dr. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Governor Babajide Sanwoolu of Lagos State, Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State, and Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State.
Governor Masari, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha welcomed the governors who arrived in batches at the Umaru Musa Yaradua International Airport, Katsina before they drove to Daura.
The governors, on arrival, paid Sallah homage to President Buhari.
They prayed for his good health and many more years of active service to Nigeria.
President Buhari, in his response, expressed gratitude to the governors for the visit.
The meeting later went into a brief closed-door session.
The governors later returned to Katsina from where they departed to their various states.
Governor Masari and his Deputy, Alhaji Mannir Yakubu saw them off at the airport.
