Former presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party, YPP, Kingsley Moghalu has advocated for electronic voting and an overhaul of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) as a solution to the current electoral problems.
Moghalu made this known on Monday via his twitter handle, where he condemned the results of Saturday’s governorship election in Bayelsa and Kogi State
Moghalu wrote: “With the conduct of “elections” in Kogi and Bayelsa states last weekend, it’s clear we don’t have a democracy really.
“We should stop deceiving ourselves. We need fundamental electoral reform in Nigeria; digital/electronic voting, overhaul of INEC. Until that happens.”
