Lagos State governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has given the greenlight for worship centres in the state to reopen from Sunday, August 7.
He made the announcement during a press briefing at the Lagos House, Marina
Recall that worship centres and other social gatherings were banned in the state since March as part of measures to curb the spread of coronavirus.
According to the Governor, mosques can open from Friday, August 7, while churches will be allowed to open from Sunday, August 9.
The Governor also increased capacity of public gatherings from 20 to 50 persons.
