Atiku’s Appeal: APC, PDP Fight Over Supreme Court Justices

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Wednesday dismissed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar’s suit against President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that he manipulated the February 23 Presidential election.

The judgement by the five-member tribunal was read by Garba Mohammed.

The tribunal stated that the petitioners, Atiku and PDP failed to provide strong evidence as proof to back up their claims against Buhari in the court.

Justice Mohammed Garba, the president of the Tribunal, said, “The petitioners failed to prove its allegations against Buhari on electoral violence, therefore petition is dismissed.

” The petitioners failed to bring their witnesses to testify in court.”
