Lagos recorded a massive 404 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, the highest by the State since April.
The increase is coming two weeks after the State Government gave the green light for worship centres to resume, while restaurants and bars are now open for normal business.
According to the daily report by the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) on its official Twitter handle, 601 cases in 21 States across the Federation.
Lagos, which is the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria had over the last two weeks witnessed a decline in cases, but Saturday’s figures shocked many, who were of the view that the virus was in it’s latter days.
Saturday’s figures also showed that aside Lagos, Abuja recorded 37 cases and Oyo with 19.
