The Premier League has announced 16 new positive COVID-19 cases following their latest round of testing.
The positive cases were detected after they conducted 3,115 tests across two rounds over the past week.
The number is, however, down compared to previous results, where the Premier League recorded 36 positive cases.
The Premier League has not identified any club affected or given details of any individuals who have tested positive.
The deadly virus has had an impact on the league this season, with the Premier League forced to reschedule some games due to positive cases.
