‘I Spent The Last One Year Strengthening My Relationship’ – Davido’s Baby Mama, Sophia Reveals



Fashion connoisseur and brand influencer, Sophia Momodu has revealed that the last one year of her life was dedicated in building and solidifying her relationships.

Sophia, the first baby mama of award-winning entertainer, David Adeleke popularly referred to as Davido and mother of his daughter, Imade Adeleke turned a new age yesterday, June 9 and she avers that her new age is the beginning of a new chapter for manifestations and appreciations.

According to the beautiful mother of one, in her previous year, she committed her energies in strengthening her relationship with God, her daughter and herself.

Sharing delightful photos of herself on her Instagram page, she wrote;

“Over the past year, I’ve spent a lot of time strengthening my relationships – with God, with my daughter, with myself… This new chapter is for Manifestations and Gratitude. Happy birthday to me”

You recall how Sophia Momodu opened up on how she was heartbroken by her daughter, Imade’s decision to take her father’s last name, Adeleke, and not hers, Momodu gave her the disappointment of her life and she cried ostensibly.

Sighted on her Instagram story, Sophia Momodu revealed how difficult it was for her to come to terms with her daughters’ move while she pulls her feminism card especially because her mum and aunts mocked her over her counter-decision.

In her words;

“I remember my mom & aunties laughing at me when I was crying because my daughter’s last name wasn’t going to be Momodu so I was genuinely distraught • I was even arguing & everything that they put her fathers full names & not a single letter from mined) Pulled out my feminist card & everything.. Z! E pain me gan that year sha awn.”

Tope Alabi Finally Break Silence, Tenders Apology To Yinka Alaseyori



Popular gospel singer, Tope Alabi has finally broken her silence after she received heavy backlash from Nigerians for criticizing a song by her younger colleague.

Alabi however denied that she was jealous of the Oniduromi crooner days after talking down on the song in a public concert.

In a recent facebook post by Church Gist, it published Alabi’s apology where she described Alaseyori as her daughter in ministry.

According to her, alot of people have been calling her regarding the issue adding that she is not envious of Alaseyori, adding that the sky is wide enough for everyone to fly.

Life In The Ghetto Made Me Hustle Hard — Rapper Olamide



Popular Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide, has narrated his experiences while living in the ghetto before becoming famous.

While speaking with The Guardian UK, he said growing up in a slum in the Bariga axis of Lagos State motivated him to hustle hard.

According to him, although surviving was hard in the ghetto, he hustled hard to become successful just to experience life in a different culture.

“Surviving was hard. Bariga was not far from the other slums you see across the world, from Mumbai to New York and London – life in the ghetto is almost always the same everywhere,” Olamide said.

The singer revealed that there were days he could not afford three square meals while growing up and that motivated him to hustle hard.

“There were days when not being able to afford three square meals was a big deal for my family. All of that motivated me to hustle hard.

” I also wanted to see the whole world and experience different cultures from what I grew up seeing,” Olamide added.
