I Won’t Set Any Goal Target In Serie A, Says Osimhen

Published

on

Victor Osimhen has stated that his main target is to help Napoli do well this season and is not interested in personal glory.

The forward opened his goal account for the new campaign in Napoli’s 5-2 win at Verona on Monday night.

The 23-year-old was Napoli’s top scorer in Serie A last season netting 14 times in 27 league appearances.

Reflecting on the win at the Stadio Marc’ Antonio Bentegodi, the Nigerian stated that he does not care how many goals he will score this season.

“I’m really happy, it was important to start well. Spalletti trusts me and we are on good terms,” Osimhen told DAZN.

“I am not the kind of player who sets a target for goals. I want to help the team by scoring, the team comes first.”

UCL: Chelsea Will Be Difficult To Overcome In Milan, Says Kaka

Published

on

Real Madrid and AC Milan’s former midfielder, Kaka has hailed ‘very consistent’ Chelsea following their defeat of AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The Brazilian, a former AC Milan player, admitted the Blues ‘deserved’ to beat the Italian side.

It was Chelsea’s first win in the Champions League under Potter, thanks to goals from Wesley Fofana, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Reece James.

The Italians will likely need to beat Graham Potter’s men in the reverse fixture next week to stand any chance of reaching the last 16.

“Chelsea deserved that result, said Kaka.

“I think they have a very consistent game they controlled the game the whole time. They didn’t create many opportunities but they took advantage of the opportunities they had.

“Most of them [chances] conceded by Milan and we were talking about the absence of the players and it’s important to keep the players that couldn’t play tonight but for Milan, it was a poor game.
