Fleeting Love Island star Malia Arkian has announced she is five months pregnant and engaged to Bradford City footballer and one time Super Eagles player, Hope Akpan.
The singer returned to prominence on Tuesday after her former co-star Kady McDermott claimed that she was punched by Malia in their infamous row – an allegation which led to Malia telling MailOnline: ‘Kady is a compulsive liar’.
Just hours after Kady’s claims, it was revealed that Sherif Lanre – star of the current series – had been ejected from the house due to a mystery rule violation, for which he immediately stated he ‘regrets’ although the reason was not specified.
While she has been dogged with criticism in recent hours due to Kady, Malia revealed happier news in that she is expecting her first child with Bradford City star Hope.
She delightedly revealed that she is four months gone and expecting a baby girl as she shared a series of sweet snaps of the happy couple with MailOnline.
In a series of loved-up snaps, the happy couple are clearly on cloud nine as they cosied up in their adoring shots ahead of their imminent arrival.
While she is awaiting the happy arrival of her daughter, Malia returned to controversy on Tuesday as Kady took to Twitter to echo claims that she was punched by Malia and made to bleed following their fracas in the villa in 2016.
In the second series of the show, Malia was ejected just hours after entering when she attacked Kady in the midst of a row about wine and the latter’s love interest Scott Thomas – and Kady has now made claims about the extent of the attack.
After becoming locked in the row, the duo reignited their feud last year and Kady appears to be ready for drama again as she took to Twitter to pen: ‘She punched me in the nose after and gave me a nose bleed but they didn’t show it as too graphic’.
Love Island viewers were not given full access to the scenes, which Kady now claims saw her nemesis punch her so badly that she suffered a nose bleed.
