Nigeria Records Fresh 481 Covid-19 Cases As Death Toll Hits 878

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 481 fresh cases of coronavirus.

NCDC made this known on Thursday night via its official twitter handle.

The new COVID-19 cases were recorded in 14 states and the FCT which brings the country’s total infections to 42,689 and 878 deaths.

Also, the NCDC data showed that of the number of persons infected with the virus in Nigeria, 19,270 have been discharged.

A further peep into NCDC’s new figures showed that some newly-infected persons were found as follows: Plateau – 68; Ogun – 49; Edo – 44; Rivers – 43; Oyo – 25; Osun – 23; Delta – 15; and  Enugu – 11.

Others are Kano – 7; Kaduna – 7; Bauchi – 2; Bayelsa – 1, and Yobe -1.
