Nigeria’s Super Eagles Drop Three Places In FIFA World Rankings

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have dropped from 42nd position to 45th position in the latest FIFA World rankings that was released on Friday.

The three-time Africa champions recently played a goalless draw with the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, in a pre-AFCON tune-up match.

However, with just few days to the commencement of the bi-annual tournament, where the team face teams like Guinea, Burundi and Madagascar, Nigeria,will be aiming for greater heights in the next Fifa ranking scheduled for July 25 with their performances at the Africa Cup of Nations will be included.

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings will be published on July 25.
