Former governor of Ogun State, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, has accused former President Olusegun Obasanjo of manipulating the 2003 and 2007 elections in order to favour the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking during a book review titled, “Nigeria on Firmer Ground: Towards lasting peace and progress” put together by the Presidential Media Team at the old Banquet Hall of the State House, Osoba, stated that President Muhammadu Buhari was denied the chance of ruling the country in 2003 and 2007 due to mass rigging.
He said that Obasanjo’s government should have been impeached due to their inability to account for over 600,000 votes that went missing during the election.
“President Buhari won in 2003. He won in 2007. They rigged it and they cannot rig again.”
