‘Pray For Me’ – Nollywood Actor Charles Okocha Begs From His Sickbed

Published

on

Actor Igwe 2Pac, real name Charles Okocha is reportedly in the hospital receiving treatment after suffering from malaria.

From the snippet of visuals he made available to his fans via Instagram, one could see a nurse attending to the actor during which she checked if the drip was functioning properly while taking care of his wounds as well.

2Pac informed his followers that he is down with malaria and typhoid fever as he asks for prayers from his numerous fan, but of course not without a shred of his drama and Americanised accent.

He wrote;

“Here in NIGERIA it’s all malaria typhoid typa shit.. this Shit don’t happen to me when am in CALIFORNAYEH .. now y’all say a word of prayer to a Nigga doing good ❤️:

He also disclosed that his brand of comedy had ‘healed’ and brought succour to some people.

He said: “I know that I inspire and heal a lot of people with the kind of content/comedy I churn out on Instagram. Those funny things I do inspire a lot of people. About six years ago, a lady told me that since she got pregnant, her baby had never kicked. But, when she watched my comedy, her baby kicked for the first time.

“Another person told me that my comedy helped her mother that had been sick for a while. I just do these things; I don’t know the people that benefit from them positively. I have been in the entertainment industry since 1999, so permit me to say that I am a living legend. In those days, one got roles because of one’s talent, not connections.”

Talented Nigerian rapper Vector has disclosed that he never asks about who gave the order that led to the shooting of some innocent souls during the EndSARS protest at Lekki Tollgate because everyone knows who did.

2020 EndSARS Protest Has Changed My Life, Says DJ Switch

Published

on

Nigeria disc jockey, Catherine Udeh, popularly known as DJ Switch, has stated that the #EndSARS protest of 2020 changed her life for worse and for better.

The activist took to her verified Instagram page on Wednesday, which marked a year after the protest, to narrate how the movement changed her life.

The DJ gained more prominence last year when she took to her Instagram page to do a live coverage that showed protesters being shot at by personnel of the Nigerian army at the Lekki Toll Gate during the #EndSARS protest that rocked the nation last year.

While most Nigerians praised her for her braveness, the DJ has claimed that she is on the run from the Nigerian government.

Sharing a video of herself on the protest day, she said, “On this day, last year 20.10.20 we were filled with hopes that young Nigerians took a solid stand.

“Through all the government’s antics, lies, counter protesters and thugs that were sent to attack us, we stood our ground!

“When the Nigerian government exhausted all their poorly planned tactics, they unleashed nothing short of evil on its citizens.

“I’ve not been able to talk today and I cannot imagine what others who had it worse, feel!

“I am so proud of our young generation of leaders and our celebrities that have shown great leadership.

“I also must say, it is not a one day affair. This is a fight for the very fabric of our nation!

“My life changed on this day… for worse! But, I also believe it changed for good! I now know what it means to need something so bad and that need for me is a better Nigeria!

“To the youths who risked it all today in order to remember 20.10.20, you are in every bit Superman/Superwoman! Thanks to @davido for an anthem to remember! #endsarsmemorial #endsars #whogavetheorder #neverpostedthisbefore” (sic)
