Former Big Brother Naija housemates Angel Smith and Cross Ike have officially unfollowed one another on Instagram.

Recall that on Friday, it was confirmed that the BBNaija stars are no longer following each other on the popular social media platform. The reason for their actions is yet to be ascertained.

Recall that during their Dubai getaway, Cross bought a diamond bracelet for Angel.

Angel had revealed on her Instagram stories that Cross bought her a diamond bracelet.

“Mr @crossda_boss ended up buying it for me,” she wrote, displaying the bracelet.

It is no longer news that Cross and Angel shared passionate kisses severally in the Big Brother house with many of their fans hoping that they will be lovers.

During the reality Tv show, Angel had said she will pursue a relationship with Cross if she doesn’t have a man outside the house.

Angel said this while having a conversation with Cross and Pere in the bathroom after a certain Saturday night party.

According to Angel, her feelings for Cross are genuine but she tries to avoid him so she does not get too attached.

Angel said: “It’s complicated when it comes to Cross because I have a man outside the house.

“If I don’t have a man, I’ll pursue something with him outside the house.

“It was hurtful for me whenever I don’t talk or avoid Cross. I don’t fake my emotions with Cross.

“I cook for Cross. I don’t do that for just any man.

“The man outside was there for me in tough times and I don’t want to treat him that way.”

Popular foreign-based Nigerian dancer Korra Obidi has denied her estranged husband’s claims that she cheated on him while she was pregnant with their child.

Justin Dean had, in a video shared via his Instagram page, alleged that Obidi cheated on him while she was five months pregnant.

However, in reaction, the dancer denied the allegations, saying her ex-husband was chasing clout with her name because she trended last week after she got attacked.


She said in a video message shared via her Instagram account: “Bloggers are learning clout chasing from Mr Justin Dean. I had an accident and I trended; he is now bringing chats from two years ago.

Burna Boy Makes TIME’s 100 Most Influential People Of 2024

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy, has been included in Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2024.


Legendary Beninese singer Angelique Kidjo wrote Ogulu’s tribute on Time’s website.

She noted that Mr Ogulu played a pivotal role in the global acceptance of African music.


Kidjo wrote: “Burna Boy has made that vision [acceptance of African music] a global reality. His music draws from the rich well of Nigerian folk traditions, and he carries the torch lit by Fela Kuti. He is history in the making.”

The Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People recognition honours individuals who have made a significant impact on the world through their art, activism, and cultural influence.

Recall that Burna Boy also recently secured a coveted spot on the inaugural Essence Magazine’s Sexiest Men Of The Moment list.


He was joined on the list by British-Nigerian stars Skepta and Damson Idris.
