President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians that his administration is working tirelessly to ensure the release of the remaining Chibok Girls kidnapped by Boko Haram.
In a press statement signed by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President, Buhari said the Nigerian Army is not relenting in their efforts to get the Chibok Girls released.
It will be recalled that Buhari is currently in Poland attending a United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP24.
“We will continue to make the safe release of the remaining Chibok Girls a priority and will welcome any kind of support from any quarters to make this happen,” the president said.
“Nigeria is totally committed to global efforts to mitigate and adapt to effects of climate change,” Mr. Buhari told the Polish leader, who is the president of COP24.
